Free Bus & Rail Travel

People in Canberra can now get access to free travel thanks to Fare Free Fridays! The year-long trial period means that you can travel on buses running from 5.30 am to 11.00 pm on Fridays and light rail services from 6.00 am on Fridays to 1.00 am on Saturday mornings. You will still need to tap on and off, but you will not be charged, so it is a great money-saving way to travel around Canberra.
