You can access free Wi-Fi at around 3,000 Telstra Wi-Fi enabled payphones in Australia. To access it, you just need to find one of the payphones, turn on your Wi-Fi, click "free Telstra Wi-Fi" in the settings, and agree to the terms and conditions on their portal. You will then be connected, and when you have connected your device once, it should automatically connect when it hits other Telstra hotspots.
